Bad weather predicted? What now?
It's never a nice feeling to see all your planning go up in smoke, but we're here to help. Aareschlauchboot.ch will not cancel any booked dates of its own accord, unless safety conditions do not allow it, which usually means that the water level is too high. Low temperatures, clouds in the sky or rain are not a reason for us to cancel, this is the responsibility of the client.
Just follow these simple rules:
Check the weather two days before your planned trip. If it looks like it will be too cold / too cloudy / too hot, send us an email and we can;
You can postpone the trip once to another date in the same season free of charge. Further postponements in the same season cost CHF 10 per booking.
Set the trip on “hold”so that you can reactivate it at a later date.
cancel the trip completely. In the event of a cancellation of a booking, the prepaid deposit remains with the organiser. If payment has already been made in full, a refund will be made less a fee according to the following list (per item booked):
Raft: Fr. 30.00
Septipus: Fr. 30.00
Rivella tube: Fr. 30.00
Party tube : Fr. 30.00
Party Tube S: Fr. 20.00
Tube: Fr. 10.00
SUP: Fr. 15.00
Kayak: Fr. 20.00
However, if you check the weather less than two days in advance and decide to cancel, you will unfortunately lose the deposit and have to pay the full amount. This balance will be charged to your credit card. The Swiss weather forecast is very accurate and in most cases you can rely on it, much earlier than 48 hours!
